In the event of the upcoming Super Bowl, I wanted to draw your attention once again to my online store, The Upper Room Store.
I took some time to listen to the audio version of Uncommon, a great book by Tony Dungy, a well known football coach and author. He was the Coach for the Indianapolis Colts who won the Super Bowl XLI. I was drawn to this book because other readers have given it a five star rating. After having the pleasure of reading it myself, I must say, I do agree with this excellent rating.
Tony Dungy had a lot of great things to say in this book. He clearly conveyed what it means to be a man especially as it relates to his career in sports. He started writing about this by asking the question: "What does God say about this?" Tony Dungy had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home. This book is a written testimony to the way he was raised and how God helped him to grow up to be a man of integrity. Having a personal relationship with God was key. Additional topics addressed by Dungy in his book, Uncommon include: Character, Trust, Honesty and Integrity, Humility and Stewardship, Courage and Leadership. This was an excellent book!! I would recommend it to every man who wants to be known as a of man of integrity

Faith and Football
This past week-end the NFL play off games took place. It was determined which teams will compete in the Super Bowl. (My condolences to the Bears fans).
